No More Silence

“No More Silence: Help us End Violence Against Prostituted Women and Girls”.

Through their own survivor movement and working tirelessly with others to end violence against their fellow prostituted women and girls the survivors’ 2025 campaign aims to raise awareness about the harms of prostitution and the difficulty faced by those seeking to exit the sex trade. The survivors seek to end men’s demand for purchased sex and to lobby the South African government to pass the Equality Law NOW which they consider the only effective legal framework for ending the violence prostituted women and girls face daily.

Donations, with a campaign goal of R200,000, help survivors tell their stories through:

  • Media releases
  • Op-ed opinion pieces
  • Flyers
  • Social media posts

Donate now to make a direct, tangible difference! Your donation helps equip survivors of the system of prostitution heal through training in photo story telling. Working with a specialist photographer and content gatherer, the survivors will learn to use the camera to tell their own stories, in their own words, reaching areas of media, legal and government influence.
